I love the color - especially as it fades from light to dark - and this is a gorgeous addition to the kitchen counter - something you'll want to leave out rather than put away. However, it's small - I was planning to use it as my main mixing bowl when baking, but it's not big enough for very much dough/batter. I'm sure it will be useful for various purposes, but if you're looking for it to be your go-to mixing bowl, it's probably too small.

I purchased this for my daughter who is starting a collection of the Le Creuset items. She loves the kiwi color. Ordering this item through Amazon was less expensive than buying the product locally. My daughter loves this batter bowl and not only keeps it out for decoration but uses it for baking and making pancakes as well. The Le Creuset items come very well packaged....I ordered several pieces and nothing was damaged.

If you want a showpiece as well as kitchenware- Le Creuset is for you! I love the Kiwi green color- it is crisp and refreshing without being too whacky, in my opinion. Because of the price of le creuset, it will take me a while to collect the pieces I hope for, but it will be worth the wait. I will not have to hide pots pans and batter bowls until I need them. They can go out on an open shelf and be a focal point in the kitchen!
